Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position is day shift with no nights, weekends or holidays.

Duties:

• PA's, Referrals, sending in prescriptions
• Perform patient intake procedures, including measuring vital signs, height, and weight
• Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and medications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical record
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Skills:

• Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Ability to provide excellent patient service with empathy and compassion
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in administering injections

Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills Compensations is based on experience
