Medical Assistant - Full-Time Peachtree City Dermatology | Newnan Dermatology About Us Peachtree City Dermatology and Newnan Dermatology are physician-led, fast-growing practices delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to serve as the primary clinical support for an assigned provider. You will manage day-to-day clinic flow, assist with a full range of dermatology visits and procedures, and deliver exceptional care to every patient. This is a high-expectation, high-reward role for someone who operates independently and takes pride in their work. Core Responsibilities Serve as the primary MA for an assigned provider, supporting their full clinic schedule Room patients efficiently, collect histories, document chief complaints, and prepare visits independently Assist with medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology visits Perform clinical tasks including vitals, numbing, wound care, suture removal, dressing changes, and specimen handling Deliver clear patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care Assist with procedures including biopsies, excisions, ED&C, and cosmetic or laser/energy-based services Maintain smooth clinic flow by managing room turnover and anticipating provider needs Document visits accurately in Modernizing Medicine (EMA) Communicate with patients via Klara and phone regarding results, instructions, refills, and follow-up care Partner with front office, surgical, and cosmetic teams to ensure a seamless patient experience Uphold all HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and clinic safety standards
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical experience Minimum 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience (dermatology preferred) Strong clinical skills and comfort working independently Excellent communication and professional bedside manner Highly reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environmentPreferred:
