Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Back Office Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing quality patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our medical facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and have experience in various medical settings, including outpatient services and urgent care. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in a clinical setting. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with medical standards. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories. Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure effective patient care. Manage medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries. Utilize knowledge of physiology and medical terminology to assist in patient education and support. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the back office area, adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology and internal medicine practices. . Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining professionalism. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient management. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and respect.
