Eye Care Hawaii is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our growing practice. No eye care experience is required—we provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact on patients' lives. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a team environment, and wants a career with advancement opportunities. Many of our team members develop specialized skills and advance into roles such as Optometric Technician, Refractionist, and Medical Scribe. What You'll Do Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service Answer phones and schedule appointments Assist patients through the check-in and examination process Perform preliminary patient testing and workups Educate patients about eye health, testing procedures, and treatment options Assist patients with contact lenses and specialty contact lens services Support doctors and fellow team members with daily clinic operations Maintain accurate patient records and documentation What We're Looking For Positive, professional attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable with excellent attendance Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset Willingness to learn and grow professionally Previous medical, optical, customer service, or receptionist experience is a plus, but not required Why Join Eye Care Hawaii?
