Clinic Manager
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Provides professional team-based care to patients. Assists in the continuum of care and in educating patients on their patient centered medical home.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
(This list may not include all of the duties assigned) Performs general clinical care to patients. Screens patients for appropriate information. Utilize knowledge and skills in the safe implementation of basic preventative and therapeutic nursing care of assigned patient/family as evidenced by documentation and observation of positive patient care outcomes. Assists with the preparation of equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients and documents accurately in the patient's chart. Responds to and refers incoming telephone calls. Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment. Responsible for preparation of exam rooms including re-stocking of treatment areas. Work collaboratively with other members of the health care team in coordination of the patient's care as evidenced by other department feedback. performs related work as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants or equivalent work experience under the NHA.
Preferred:
Word Processing and computer experience One year of MA experience in an office setting
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE
Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants or National Healthcareer Association CPR Certification Job description is available upon request. #hc250591
