Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting clinical operations within our facility, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a solid understanding of medical terminology and experience within various clinical settings, including urgent care and pediatrics. Responsibilities Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs and documenting patient information accurately. Maintain organized patient records and ensure compliance with clinic systems and protocols. Support the administration of medical procedures, including coding and documentation for billing purposes. Interact with patients to gather medical histories and provide instructions for care. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance the patient experience. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment to promote safety and efficiency. Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in patient care. Requirements Previous experience in a clinical setting such as a hospital, urgent care, or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding practices. Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients of all ages, including geriatrics. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
