The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires proficiency in various clinical tasks, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient service. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our facility and deliver exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Assist in the prior authorizations of medications as prescribed by physicians. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Perform basic life support (BLS) as needed in emergency situations. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns effectively. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within E-Clinicals electronic health system. Must have experience or be willing to perform venipunctures. Needs to be willing to process prior authorizations for referrals, procedures, and experience in completing FMLA/Disability paperwork. Skills Proficient in taking vital signs and performing basic life support (BLS). Familiarity with E-Clinicals health record system for accurate documentation. Experience with medication administration protocols. Knowledge of medications and uses Strong patient service skills with an emphasis on empathy and communication. Ability to work effectively within a small family practice and other coworkers. Understanding of clinical practices within Family Medicine.
