About Us:
The Healing Hut is a patient-centered medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing team and support both providers and patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.Responsibilities:
Room patients and obtain vital signs. Assist providers during exams and procedures. Prepare and maintain exam rooms. Perform phlebotomy and/or injections (if applicable). Manage lab orders, specimen handling, and results. Update and maintain accurate medical records in the EMR. Communicate with patients via phone, email, and patient portal. Assist with scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols. Support overall clinic flow and teamwork.Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent). Previous clinical experience preferred. Phlebotomy experience a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills. Comfortable using EMR systems and basic office technology. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment. Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor. Must demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning, including clinic-specific processes and continuing education.Benefits
