Job Description

Our Vision Care Clinic is looking for a patient-focused, energetic, and dependable optician with a passion for delivering remarkable care in a collaborative environment. Our ideal candidate is a team player who strives to exceed patient expectations and has a great attitude all the while. We run an efficient and family friendly office with full daily schedules.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Review Physician's prescriptions and orders based on medical charts Operate manual lensometer and other tools to achieve proper fittings for patients Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their medical needs as well as lifestyle preferences Provide honest and compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frames Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while attending to patients' specific needs and desires Manage inventory of frames ensure optimum customer satisfaction and product variety Communicate with physician with questions or concerns about prescriptions and other eye-related issues Answer phones Communicate with patients Talk with insurances Help process patient information Work with computers Detail oriented
Job Type:
Full-time position. Our office is open Monday through Saturday, including Wednesday and Thursday evening hours. Team members work a rotating schedule that is generally similar to four 10-hour days. We prefer a Certified Optician to join our team but we will train the right person. Our patients expect caring, friendly service and attention to detail in dispensing frames and corrective lenses.
