Required Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Technician job responsibilities include: Perform patient pre-testing
Obtain medical and vision histories
Assist with contact lens training and education
Enter information into EHR
Order contact lenses
Prepare exam rooms and equipment
Support efficient patient flow
Educate patients on eye care recommendation

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining professionalism and patient confidentiality
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in an optometric, ophthalmology, medical, or healthcare setting
Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
Experience performing patient intake, medical histories, or clinical testing
Contact lens experience
Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn.
