Full Job Description Overview:
We are looking for a positive, motivated, and eager Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for pre-med or pre-PA/NP individuals that need medical experience but are not certified MAs. We are looking for people that thrive in multiple roles. These include rooming patients, assisting with the front desk, helping with procedures and recovery, as well as operating the x ray machine if needed. Our schedule is Monday- Thursday, 8am-5pm with Friday being an optional day to catch up on work if needed.
Duties:
- Answer phone calls
- Correspond with providers to get answers to patient questions
- Patient Check-in/Check-out
- Schedule patients for procedures and follow-up appointments
- Room patients and take vitals
- Operate the C-arm during procedures
- Stay on task during rooming patients to ensure providers stay on time
- Safely recovering patients from sedation
