Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical operations. This vital role combines hands-on clinical support with medical administrative duties, ensuring a seamless patient experience across diverse medical settings. This family practice you will be at the forefront of delivering compassionate, efficient care. Duties Administer vaccines to infants, pediatrics and adults. Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to monitor patient health status. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort. Support in administering medications and injections following proper protocols and safety standards. Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines or other imaging tools used in outpatient or inpatient settings. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information, treatment plans, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and other medical documentation clearly and accurately. Assist with laboratory procedures, specimen collection, and processing to support diagnostic testing. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit. Experience Familiarity with eClinicalWorks EHR system and proficiency in medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation. Prior involvement in procedures requiring medication administration or X-ray operation is advantageous.

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
