Medical Assistant Job Description Join a dedicated team as a Medical Assistant in a clinic. Your primary role will involve scheduling patients, preparing rooms, and assisting with patient visits alongside one provider and another Medical Assistant. You will be responsible for taking vital signs, collecting medical history, and entering data into the EMR system. This role requires flexibility to occasionally float to another location if needed. Responsibilities Schedule patients for office/clinic visits. Prepare rooms with required materials for visits. Assist with rooming patients. Collaborate with one provider and another Medical Assistant. Take vitals, weight, height, blood pressure, and medical history. Work with patients' families/caregivers to collect information. Enter all data into the EMR system. Schedule follow-up appointments as needed. Be flexible to occasionally float to another location if short-staffed. Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, or Polish. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington Heights, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
