Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to medical professionals in specialist office setting. We are a private practice consisting of 6 Rheumatologists with 2 locations; seeking a fulltime MA in both our Barrington and Elk Grove Village (800 Biesterfield Rd.) locations, occasional coverage in your non primary location will be needed.

Responsibilities:

• Take and record vital signs accurately for 2 physicians a day
• Ensure patient records have been uploaded to their charts from hospital systems
• Administer medications under the direction of a physician/nurse
• Provide patient education; answer and return patient calls
• Respond to tasks from physicians and other team members

Qualifications:

• Certification or diploma in Medical Assistant preferred (not required)
• Ability to perform tasks such as taking vital signs and entering patient assessments
• Knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, and lab/radiology coding preferred
• Polish speaking or Spanish speaking preferred
