DAY TO DAY AS A CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

As a new Certified Medical Assistant at Fox Valley Medical Associates, you can expect a dynamic and fulfilling daily routine centered around patient care and support. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for examinations, assisting healthcare providers during procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation of medical histories. Your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, working 4-5 days per week, with occasional Saturday mornings as needed. A valid Certified Medical Assistant certification and CPR certification are foundational prerequisites. Proficiency in phlebotomy, specimen collection, and EKG administration is crucial for providing quality healthcare support. Strong patient scheduling and appointment coordination skills, along with insurance verification knowledge, are necessary for ensuring seamless office operations.
