Position Overview:
Patient Care Technician will assist physicians, nurses, and other staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Room turnover and set-up. Maintain and clean equipment and identify items needing repair per policy. Effectively perform sterilization, disinfection, and document loads per policy. Apply principles of asepsis to maintain sterility during surgical setup and procedure. Turn OR rooms over and set up for the next patient in an efficient manner.
