Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines clinical support with front-office responsibilities, ensuring smooth patient flow and exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical administrative support, patient care, and clinical procedures, with experience across various medical specialties including chiropractic, physical therapy, decompression, and laser. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment at two offices located in Germantown Hills IL and Peoria IL, where professionalism, efficiency, and compassionate patient interaction are paramount. Responsibilities Provide warm, professional, and courteous service while interacting with patients, visitors, and team members. Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive customer service experience. Schedule appointments for new and returning patients with accuracy and efficiency. Review and explain intake paperwork to new patients, ensuring clarity and understanding. Create and maintain patient charts according to established standards, ensuring completeness and organization. Manage administrative aspects of patient visits, supporting both clinical and front-office operations. Maintain medical records and follow all front-office documentation protocols. Keep the workspace clean, organized, and conducive to an efficient workflow. Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient and personal information. Correspond professionally and promptly with providers, employers, and employees.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
