Job Description
Job responsibilities include: Rooming patients, including taking vitals, chief complaint, and reviewing history. Performing tests such as EKG, PFT, fingersticks, and urinalysis. Processing outpatient test orders, medication refills, and prior authorizations. Answering phones. Checking patients in and out of office. Scheduling patient appointments. On-the-job training is offered, but candidates without basic computer skills and a capacity to learn rapidly need not apply.
