Job Description
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) SkyRose Rejuvenation Clinic & Spa Position Overview SkyRose Rejuvenation Clinic & Spa is seeking a polished, compassionate, highly organized Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to support our growing aesthetics and wellness practice. This is a hybrid clinical and patient-care position designed to help create a seamless experience from the moment a patient enters the clinic through treatment, checkout, and follow-up. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, boutique medical spa environment and understands that exceptional patient care includes both clinical excellence and an elevated guest experience . This position will work closely with the medical provider and Guest Relations/Patient Experience team while helping improve efficiency, patient flow, retention, and overall clinic operations. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Provider Support Prepare treatment rooms before and between patients. Room patients and assist with efficient patient flow. Obtain and document vital signs, weight, and other appropriate clinical information. Review and update medications, allergies, medical history, and relevant patient information. Assist the provider during aesthetic, wellness, and medical procedures within the CCMA's permitted scope. Prepare supplies and equipment for procedures. Assist with before-and-after photography and proper photo documentation. Support weight-management visits, wellness services, injectable appointments, and other clinical programs. Perform permitted clinical tasks such as specimen collection, point-of-care testing, injections, or phlebotomy when appropriately trained, authorized, and within applicable scope. Provide provider-approved pre- and post-treatment instructions. Reinforce treatment plans and appropriate follow-up recommendations established by the provider. Monitor treatment rooms and clinical supplies throughout the day. Patient Experience & Care Coordination Welcome patients and help create a professional, luxury-level experience. Escort patients through the appropriate stages of their visit. Help patients understand what to expect during their appointments. Ensure patients receive appropriate aftercare information before leaving. Assist with scheduling recommended follow-up appointments and treatment-plan appointments. Conduct or support post-treatment follow-up according to clinic protocols. Identify patient questions or concerns requiring escalation to the provider. Help ensure patients do not leave without understanding their recommended next steps. Documentation & Compliance Assist with accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Ensure appropriate consent forms, photographs, and required documentation are completed. Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Follow infection-control, OSHA, bloodborne-pathogen, and clinic safety protocols. Maintain organized clinical records and assist with outstanding documentation as directed. Immediately communicate clinical concerns or adverse reactions to the provider. Treatment Room & Inventory Management Clean, disinfect, and reset treatment rooms between patients. Maintain appropriate stocking levels in treatment rooms. Track clinical and retail inventory as assigned. Monitor expiration dates and notify leadership when products or supplies need to be reordered. Assist with receiving and organizing clinical supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, professional clinical environment. Practice Support Because SkyRose operates as a boutique practice, every team member contributes to the overall patient experience.
