We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of patients and work in a fast-paced medical environment.Duties:
- Perform basic patient care duties, including taking Client intake.
- Assist healthcare professionals with procedures and treatments
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with coding and billing processes
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
