Duties Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to ensure accurate patient assessments Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit Support physicians during procedures by handling specimen collection, medication administration, and basic wound care in outpatient or inpatient settings Document patient interactions thoroughly using medical terminology and ICD coding standards for accurate record-keeping We are looking for someone with MA certification or MA experience. Your main duty is driving and assisting a provider as they make home visitations. You will need to use YOUR car. We reimburse mileage at the federal rate. Someone wiling to go to surrounding areas of the city is preferred. Reliability is everything and clean driving record is a must.
