Job Description

Medical Assistant SIFPC / Rejuv Health & Wellness is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, communicates well, stays organized, and is comfortable working in a busy clinical environment. The Medical Assistant will support our provider with both clinical and administrative duties while helping ensure each patient receives efficient, professional, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and prepare them for examinations Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and the reason for the visit Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider Perform blood draws, specimen collection, EKGs, and other clinical testing Prepare examination rooms and maintain appropriate supplies Clean and sterilize instruments according to established procedures Document accurately in Athena Respond to patient phone calls and portal messages Process prescription refill requests as directed Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and obtaining medical records Schedule appointments and provide patients with follow-up instructions Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Work collaboratively with provider and other team members Assist with additional clinical and office duties as needed
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant education or previous clinical experience required Medical Assistant certification preferred Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Experience with blood draws, injections, and electronic medical records required Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Dependable attendance and punctuality Professional, compassionate, and respectful approach to patient care Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
Schedule:
Tuesday-Thursday 8a-5p Friday 8a-2p No weekends unless otherwise scheduled
Pay:
Pay is based on experience and qualifications
