Job Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to assist healthcare professionals in various medical settings.Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and stocking of supplies
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Administer medications under the direction of a provider
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
Skills:
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Basic life support certification
- Experience in dermatology, emergency medicine, geriatrics, or hospital settings
- Familiarity with coding and billing practices
Nice-to-Have Skills:
