Position Summary As a Medical Assistant , you'll play a key role in supporting our providers, radiologic technologists, and patients. This is a fast-paced, patient-facing position where you'll help ensure an efficient and positive care experience, from check-in through discharge. We're looking for someone who is organized, service-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. What You'll Do Register patients and verify insurance and eligibility Room patients and prepare them for examination Record medical history and vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.) Perform point-of-care testing (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG) Assist providers during patient visits and communicate patient needs Process co-pays and schedule follow-up appointments Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms and front desk areas Manage medical records, documentation, and patient communications Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries Support daily clinic operations, including opening and closing duties Required Qualifications Medical Assistant certification is required at the time of hire.

CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

  • NHA) CMA (Certified Medical Assistant
  • AAMA or CHP) RMA (Registered Medical Assistant
  • AMT, AAH, or ARMA) NCMA (National Certified Medical Assistant
  • NCCT) NRCMA (Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant
