Location This position will float to the different Primary Care and Specialty offices within the Indy metro region. Schedule Monday
- Friday; 8:00am
- 4:30pm What We're Looking For Dependable and reliable team players Positive attitude and strong communication skills Willingness to learn and support teammates Phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and prior authorization experience preferred Willingness to learn and support teammates Typical Responsibilities Room patients and support providers during clinic visits Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations Assist with both clinical and administrative duties Rooming patients and completing intake Assisting providers with patient care Documenting in Cerner Phlebotomy and point-of-care testing Managing patient messages Scanning and maintaining medical records Preparing exam rooms and supporting clinic workflow Benefits 401(k) with employer match Tuition reimbursement Student loan forgiveness eligibility Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Healthy Results Wellness Program with bi‑weekly incentives Sound like a perfect match?

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from a Medical Assistant program required.
- Current certification in medical assisting required from America Association of Medical Assistants (CMA), American Medical Technologists (RMA), National Health Career Association (CCMA), National Center for competency Testing (NCMA), American Medical Certification Association (CMAC), and/or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
- Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA required.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding required.
- TB validated (to administer or read) or validation obtained within 6 months of hire preferred.
- Knowledge of Business Unit Quality Programs, Meaningful Use and Standard Work Programs and concepts within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledge of standard laboratory and medical procedures.
- Knowledge of insurance plans and third-party payers.
- Ability to master standard clinical competencies per current Clinical policy, Point of Care and Skills Competency checklists.
- Requires basic math and accurate data collection and entry skills.
