Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a detail oriented individual with strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals alike. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures and x-rays, ensuring comfort and safety. Perform intake procedures, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and current medications. Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a clinic setting. Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient record management. Ability to perform intake assessments and accurately record vital signs. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds.
