Medical Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to work effectively. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Perform intake procedures, including obtaining vital signs and medical history Administer medications as directed by physicians Perform various ophthalmic testing Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems Ensure compliance with safety protocols Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care Skills Knowledge of ophthalmology preferred Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD coding, and EHR systems Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care Experience in various clinical settings such as outpatient clinics.
