Job Description
Overview Join our healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant, where your skills will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional clinical and administrative support in a private medical practice medical environment. Your expertise in patient interaction, triage, phlebotomy, and prior authorizations will help ensure seamless healthcare delivery. We are committed to fostering a collaborative atmosphere that values your dedication and professional growth. Responsibilities Assist with patient triage, including recording vital signs, rooming patients, updating medication list, and preparing patients for examinations. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy as needed, obtaining current medication list and performing in house clia testing. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of medical information. Support medical office operations by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, completing prior authorizations for collaborative care, and coordinating communication between providers and patients. Prepare exam rooms and assist the healthcare provider during procedures Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program; additional certifications in phlebotomy is a plus. Proven experience in medical office settings with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation practices. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to support accurate patient assessments. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately across diverse populations.
