Floater Medical Assistant & Receptionist Job Type:

As Needed Location:
Multiple office locations (Glasgow / Burkesville)
Schedule:
Varying weekdays based on office needs We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and flexible individual to join our team as a PRN / Floater Medical Assistant & Receptionist . This position will assist with both clinical and front office duties while providing coverage between office locations as needed. ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties Room patients and obtain vital signs Document patient information accurately in EMR Assist providers with patient care and procedures Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect specimens as needed Handle prescription refill requests and prior authorizations Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms Front Office Duties Answer phones and assist patients professionally Schedule appointments and verify insurance Check patients in and out Collect copays and update patient demographics Scan and upload documents into EMR Assist with general office workflow and patient communication Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred, but experience considered Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable transportation and willingness to travel between locations Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who is: Flexible and dependable Comfortable learning different office workflows Friendly and compassionate with patients Able to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Flexible PRN scheduling Supportive team environment Opportunity for additional hours based on office needs Experience across multiple areas of healthcare operations To apply, please send your resume and contact information for consideration.
