The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers by ensuring the smooth operation of clinical and administrative tasks within our facility. This position involves direct patient interaction, including preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, and documenting medical histories and medications accurately. The Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and sterile environment by properly sterilizing rooms and equipment. Additionally, this role requires effective communication skills to manage patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate with Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare staff. Ultimately, the Medical Assistant contributes to delivering high-quality patient care and enhancing the overall efficiency of the healthcare team.Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program. Proficiency in taking and recording vital signs accurately. Strong communication skills and ability to manage patient interactions professionally.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working alongside Nurse Practitioners or in a clinical healthcare setting. Certification from a recognized Medical Assistant credentialing organization (e.g., CMA, RMA). Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical office software. Additional training in patient care or medical office administration. Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.Responsibilities:
