Job Description

Position Summary Full Time (Monday through Friday) Medical Assistant at Wellsprings Wellness, in this role you would be assisting Providers in providing a continuum of services to individuals, children, adults, and families. Employees have the opportunity to gain valuable experience as they work with our professional and innovative clinical team. Our team provides clients with a full range of integrated healthcare services to include psychiatric, medication management, primary care services, diagnostic laboratory services, counseling services (individual, couples, family, groups), and targeted case management services. Our agency employs on-site psychiatric practitioners. Education & Licensing Requirements CNA, CMA, or RMA Certification required Duties & Responsibilities Place patients in rooms after obtaining clinical medical component Properly prepare patient for exam and assist Provider with exams and procedures as needed. Make certain that all pre-exam labs and other documents are in the patient's chart prior to the visit. Have a working knowledge of setting up and assisting with procedures. Collect in office patient specimens and complete in office laboratory testing such as EKG, PFT, and CLIA waived testing. Experience & Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills (ability to communicate professionally and responsibly with patients is a must). Ability to maintain current license and certification Ability to work as a member of a team is a requirement Possess ability to utilize various electronic equipment to include windows based computers, lab equipment, and other medical equipment. Ability to utilize Electronic Health Records System. Strong work ethic is a requirement. Critical Thinking Skills is a requirement.
