About us Mitchells Pediatrics is a small business in
HEALTH CARE MEDICAL
space in Alexandria, LA. We take care of the kids of Central Louisiana everyday.
Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting Growth opportunities We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team and provide support to our medical staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, be able to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling appointments, taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, assisting with minor procedures, administering medications, and providing patient education.
Responsibilities:
Perform administrative and clinical tasks to support the medical staff. Schedule patient appointments and maintain medical records. Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures. Prepare patients for examination and treatment. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens. Administer medications as directed by a physician. Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.

$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
