Candidate must be passionate about helping others, dependable, and interested in professional growth and development. Experience in a gynecology, hormone and/or wellness clinic a plus. Clinical duties (vary based on credentials): 1) Obtains patient's vitals. 2) Assists physician or mid-level practitioner with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals. 3) Completes history documentation, medication reconciliation, problem list update on all patients in the EMR. 4) Administers IM injections. 5) Assists physician in tracking administration and monitoring of hormone medications. 6) Assists in answering patient questions regarding various aspects of hormone therapy. 7) Assists with gynecologic in-office procedures. 8) Prepares laboratory order forms and obtains/relays patient laboratory results. 9) Performs other clinical duties as required. 10) Conducts follow-up calls to patients to discuss the patient's progress and address any concerns. 11) Obtains prior authorizations from insurance companies.
Administrative Duties:
1) Use a multi-line phone system to answer and appropriately route all incoming calls and scheduling appointments. 2) Refers non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests for information and other inquiries or complaints to the appropriate staff member. 3) Ensures that each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every patient, maintaining outstanding standards, and all other aspects of patient-centered care. 4) Assists with daily monitoring of inventory levels of all clinical and office supplies. 5) Trains additional staff on daily procedures when requested by the office manager and/or physician 6) Participates in clinic marketing including Facebook, Instagram, and any other advertising campaigns for the clinic. 7) Checks in patients and collects payments at front desk, over the phone and in exam room.
