Job Description

Our busy and growing Psychiatric & Family Medicine practice is seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a motivated professional with a minimum of five (5) years of experience, preferably in a Mental Health setting, who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of Medical Assistant experience (Required) At least 5 years of Mental Health clinical experience preferred Current Medical Assistant certification. Current CPR certification Strong knowledge of Mental Health procedures and medications Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast paced clinical environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality Required OB/GYN Skills Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs Preparing exam and procedure rooms Administering injections and vaccines Patient education regarding medications and treatment plans Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) documentation Medication refills and prior authorizations Coordinating referrals, imaging, and laboratory testing Following infection control and OSHA guidelines Responsibilities Deliver outstanding patient care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members. Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and prepared. Support efficient clinic workflow while maintaining a positive patient experience.
