Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Medical Assistant Pay:
$14.00-$18.00/hour

PM Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to physicians and assist with daily patient care operations. This position will primarily work in the back office assisting physicians with patient preparation, documentation, rooming, and other clinical tasks. The ideal candidate has previous clinic experience, strong attention to detail, and a professional, patient-focused approach.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with daily clinical and patient care activities. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and update patient information. Assist with examinations and other clinical procedures as directed by physicians. Prepare and maintain examination rooms and clinical supplies. Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records. Assist with scheduling, referrals, and other clinical office tasks as needed. Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and other healthcare staff. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Follow all office policies, procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations. No injections will be administered as part of this position. Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of clinical or medical office experience is required. Previous experience working in a physician's office or clinical setting is required. Medical Assistant Certification is preferred, but not required. Strong understanding of basic clinical and patient care procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism.
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
