Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic dermatology and Mohs surgery team as a Medical Assistant with at least one year of clinical experience! In this vibrant role, you will be the heartbeat of patient care, providing essential support in a fast-paced outpatient dermatology setting. Your expertise will help ensure smooth clinic operations, deliver exceptional patient service, and assist in delivering top-tier dermatological treatments. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their identity, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Assist providers during dermatology examinations and procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, and handing over necessary tools. Take accurate vital signs, record detailed medical histories, and document patient encounters with precision in medical records. Support clinical procedures such as Mohs surgery, excisions, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, or cosmetic procedures by preparing supplies and assisting during treatments. Manage patient intake, answer questions about procedures or medications, and provide clear instructions for post-treatment care. Qualifications Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant in dermatology or related outpatient settings such as hospital medicine or urgent care. Strong knowledge of dermatology-specific medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy related to skin conditions. Experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management is essential. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient service in fast-paced environments such as outpatient clinics or hospital settings. Pay:
