Medical Assistant Fall River, MA Apply Medical Assistant Summary:

Under the general direction of the Medical Floor Manager, the Medical Assistant will perform a wide variety of patient care activities including patient assessment, treatment, and general patient care for the patients visit. The Medical Assistant is responsible for obtaining ertinent information and reason for the visit; perform pulse, temperature, blood pressure, height, weight, and BMI on all routine clinic visits; and retrieve labs, hospital records, and tests for the provider.

Schedule:

Mon 7:30-4pm, Tues 7:30-2pm, Wed 7:30-6pm, Thurs 9:30-6pm, Fri 7:30-4pm Rotating Saturdays 9-1pm

Pay Range:

\$20.97 - \$25.16 per hour•The pay range represents HealthFirst\'s good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting, in compliance with applicable laws. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and budget considerations. Candidates with less direct experience may be placed at the lower end of the range, while those with more significant or specialized experience may be considered at the higher end.

Benefits:

Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent and the successful completion of a Medical Assistant program and externship are required. 2. Medical Assistant Certificate within 90 days of hire required (i.e. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)) 3. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred. 4. Bilingual skills (English, Spanish/Portuguese) preferred. 5. Must submit a CORI release form and demonstrate proof of being free from disqualifying information. 6. Maintain current certification in CPR/BLS.
