Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for full-time Medical Assistants to join our experienced primary care team in Longmeadow, MA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Baystate Health, Medical Assistants perform an important role providing care to our patients. They take vital signs, perform patient intake and history, clinical orders, procedures, documentation and patient discharge. Our supportive work environment allows you to provide optimal patient care.SCHEDULE
Full-time Mon- Fri; 8-4:30pm or 8:30-5pm NO weekends; NO Holidays
LOCATION
21 Dwight RoadQUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED required CPR-Basic Life Support of Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association required MAI- Graduate of an accredited MA program preferred OR demonstrated competencies of MA I (evaluated by hiring manager) with minimum 1 year experience in a medical office. MAII
- Graduate of an accredited MA program OR demonstrated competencies of MA II (evaluated by hiring manager for level hiring for) with minimum 3 years' current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting. MAIII
- Graduate of an accredited MA program with a minimum of 5 years' current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting preferred OR demonstrated competencies of MA III (evaluated by hiring manager) with a minimum of 5 years' current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting OR minimum of two years as an MA II at a Baystate Health with demonstrated competencies of
MA III. MAIV
- (Internal career ladder) Minimum of two years as an MA III at Baystate Health with demonstrated competencies for promotion to MA IV. Graduate of an accredited MA program and registered/certified by a third-party credential body. Credentialing must be awarded by a third-party credentialing body which can be obtained through: 1. Registered through Medical Assistant (ARMA)
