Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team 24 to 34 hrs position The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and admirative support to our pediatricians and ensuring the smooth operation of our pediatric. The Pediatric Medical Assistant will work closely with patients and their families to provide compassionate care and support. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and care Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort Support physicians during procedures by handing instruments, managing supplies, and maintaining a sterile environment Administer medications or injections under physician supervision in accordance with safety protocol Manage administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate medical documentation Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient or inpatient settings; clinic experience preferred Prior experience working in a pediatric clinic or similar healthcare setting Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology to accurately document patient encounters Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Strong Attention to detail and organizational skills Bilingual preferred
