This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and assists healthcare providers with patient care, scheduling, and office workflow. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and able to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Collect patient vital signs, medical histories, and update records accurately to facilitate efficient clinical workflows. Assist healthcare providers with procedures and chaperone exams Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and follow-up communications to optimize clinic flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards in hospital or emergency medicine environments. Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing patient records, verifying insurance information, and coordinating referrals or imaging appointments. Maintain supply inventory, communicate with patients about management plans, and manage lab specimens Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ICD coding to accurately support clinical documentation. Proficiency with EHR systems for charting patient encounters and managing medical records efficiently. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations Ability to perform vital signs collection, intake procedures, and basic medication administration confidently.
Pay:
$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
