The Michigan Medicine Department of Neurology seeks a qualified candidate for a 0.55 FTE position as a staff physician in University Hospital. Bedside teaching to residents and fellows rotating through the department's inpatient unit is expected. Candidates are required to have completed an M.D. or equivalent degree, along with residency training in Neurology. Experience with inpatient care is required. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.A. and to be licensed or eligible for licensing in the State of Michigan. Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. ground screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
