Job Description:
We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) with great interpersonal skills to join our vascular surgery practice. We are looking for an individual who is interested in a
PART-TIME
position and who wants to be part of a great team. There are no evenings, holidays, or weekends. This position offers great flexibility, while also providing a great place to work at. The MA becomes an integral person in how the office functions and because this is a specialty office, there is more time to interact with and build relationships with our patients. This is a special place and we only want to hire someone who can help us deliver excellent care! Ideally, we are looking for someone who can be with our practice for the long term. We will consider candidates who are actively pursuing undergraduate degrees if they are interested in gaining experience.
Responsibilities:
The MA will be responsible for rooming patients, and obtaining vitals and documentation within the EMR. The MA will also help with front office duties, such as answering phone calls, scheduling office visits and tests, and providing great care to our patients. The MA will be trained to help with office procedures performed in our angiography/OR suite. These functions are more specific and require more attention to detail because it is not a primary care practice.
Qualifications:
Experience is preferable. The right candidate will not be more than 30-40 minutes away from the office.

About Bloomfield Vein & Vascular, PLLC:
I opened Bloomfield Vein & Vascular (BVV) in July 2015. It was the first Office Based Lab (OBL) in Southeast Michigan run by a board certified Vascular Surgeon. We provide arterial and venous care to patients, without the constraints of the hospital. We have grown since 2015 and we now need additional personnel who can complement our team. We want to provide our patients with contemporary, comprehensive vascular care in a welcoming office setting.
