Job Description

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing assistance and computer charting to support doctors and patients related to patients foot and ankle aliments in a fast paced podiatric medical practice with locations in Clare and Mt Pleasant. The hours are Monday
  • Thursday 8:00
  • 5:00 with lunch 12:00-1:00 and Fridays 8:00
  • 2:00.
The goal is to complete daily activities accurately with efficiency. This position requires a person with medical assistant experience, a positive attitude and friendly personality, computer skills is a must, bending and stooping is required on a daily basis. This medical practice services many elderly clients. Minor office procedures are performed in this setting. Check us out at our website iseefeet.com Responsibilities Documenting initial medical history and during physical exam in EMR Sanitizing and maintaining clean stocked treatment rooms/office Maintaining HIPAA compliance Assisting physician during medical examination and procedures Preparing and cleaning medical instruments Drawing up injections Taking x-rays Assisting patients in donning and doffing of socks and shoes etc Skills Proven work experience as a medical assistant Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Proficiency in computer use and typing skills
