Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates with precision. Support clinical procedures by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting during minor procedures or treatments. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to ensure accurate documentation of patient information, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Conduct basic medical tasks such as medication administration, sample collection, administration of immunizations. Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, offering bilingual communication support, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Support administrative functions including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, ICD coding for diagnoses, and maintaining organized patient files. Qualifications Bilingual fluency in Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and basic life support (BLS) Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in managing patient intake processes and vital signs documentation. Ability to work effectively in inpatient or outpatient environments across various specialties such as geriatrics, internal medicine, or medical-surgical units. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in ICD coding, medication administration, and documentation accuracy.
