Medical Assistant Elite Prime Family Clinic Dearborn, MI Job Details Part-time 11 hours ago Qualifications Arabic BLS Certification English Phlebotomy specimen handling Medical scheduling Medical assisting Full Job Description Job Overview We are looking for an expereinced Medical Assistant to join our Urgent Care and Primary Care office. The Ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Arabic and have at least 1 year of expereince as a Medical Assistant. You will work closely with our providers to deliver quality patient care while helping keep the office running efficently. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments in various specialties including dermatology, emergency medicine, and hospital medicine. Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature. Perform EKGs, rapid testing, and other in-office diagnostic testing Collect specimens such as blood or urine samples through phlebotomy techniques and prepare them for laboratory testing. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) by documenting patient information, updating medical histories, and ensuring data accuracy. Support medical administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and insurance documentation. Administer injections and vaccines as ordered by the provider Operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines or other imaging tools when required for specific departments like radiology or emergency medicine. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols in outpatient clinics or hospital settings. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care across inpatient and outpatient services. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant expereince required Must be fluent in English and Arabic Phlebotomy expereince preferred, must be comfortable performing blood draws and collecting laboratory specimens Medical Assistant certification is perferred BLS/CPR certification preferred Ability to multitask in a fast-paced urgent care and primary care setting. Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills. Previous expereince in Urgent care, Primary care, and Family Medicine is preferred.
