Job Description

We are a patient-focused podiatry practice dedicated to providing high-quality foot and ankle care in a welcoming and professional environment. Our team values compassion, teamwork, and excellence in every aspect of patient care. We are looking for a reliable and caring Podiatric Assistant to join our growing practice. Position Summary The Podiatric Assistant supports our podiatrist and clinical staff in delivering efficient and compassionate care to patients. This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, including preparing treatment rooms, assisting with procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from check-in to checkout. Key Responsibilities Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient visits Assist the podiatrist during examinations and minor procedures Clean and sterilize instruments and maintain inventory of supplies Record patient information, vitals, and medical history in the EHR system Educate patients on foot care, treatment plans, and post-procedure instructions Manage scheduling, phone calls, and front desk support as needed Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Provide compassionate and professional patient service at all times Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in a podiatry, medical, or clinical setting a plus Basic knowledge of medical terminology and foot/ankle anatomy helpful Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented This position will work out of our three Foot & Ankle Centers of Excellence. Washington location Monday and Wednesday from 845a-515p +•. East China location Tuesday and Thursday from 845a-515p +•. Port Huron location on Friday from 1230p-515p +•.
