Must be team-oriented, detailed, have good communication skills, able to work in a fast pace environment and multi-task, comfortable relaying test results to the patients over the phone. In addition to assisting with patient examinations, treatments and procedures the candidate is responsible for chart preparation, readying and stocking exam rooms, and escorting patients to rooms. Obtains vital signs and prepares patients for physician's care. Documents in the electronic medical record. Cleans, stores, prepares and coordinates maintenance of medical equipment. Maintains inventories of medical supplies. Occasional phlebotomy. 5+ years OB/Gyn experience preferred.
