Full Job Description Administrative Duties:
Greeting patients and checking them in. Scheduling appointments and managing medical records. Handling billing and insurance claims. Answering phone calls and directing inquiries. Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
Clinical Duties:
Taking patients' vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Recording patients' medical histories and updating electronic health records. Assisting healthcare providers during examinations and procedures. Administering injections or medications as directed by the physician. Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens for testing. Performing basic laboratory tests like urinalysis or blood glucose monitoring. Instructing patients about medication and special diets. Removing sutures or changing dressings under the supervision of a physician.
Communication and Patient Education:
Communicating test results and treatment plans to patients. Providing instructions for at-home care or follow-up appointments. Educating patients about preventive healthcare measures and lifestyle changes. Offering emotional support and reassurance to patients during visits.
Technical Duties:
Operating medical equipment such as electrocardiograms (EKGs) and spirometers. Performing basic first aid in emergencies. Sterilizing medical instruments and equipment. Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols. Assisting with
