The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical and administrative tasks, with experience in various medical specialties including dermatology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting physicians and healthcare providers, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments across diverse specialties such as dermatology. Take and record vital signs accurately. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout the process. Collect specimens for laboratory testing, perform phlebotomy procedures, and manage sample documentation efficiently. Maintain health records documenting patient information, medical histories, medication lists and diagnosis. Support medical administrative functions such as appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and managing medical records. Assist with medication administration under physician supervision and ensure proper handling of pharmaceuticals according to protocols. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Skills Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy . Proven experience in medical office management and administrative support within fast-paced healthcare settings. Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS). Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse patient populations. Experience working in dermatology environments is highly desirable. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in both clinical and administrative duties. Knowledge of inpatient procedures or OR experience is advantageous for supporting complex cases or surgical settings.
