Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Massage Clinic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position will have pay increases based on booking schedule goals. Opportunities for additional hours are available based on need and skill level.
Hours:
Monday:
8:30 a.m. to 7:00/7:30 p.m. 1 hour allotted for lunch break (unpaid)
Tuesday:
Currently Closed Wednesday:
8:30 a.m. to 7:00/7:30 p.m. 1 hour allotted for lunch break (unpaid)
Thursday:
12:00 p.m. to 6:00/6:30 p.m. (Potential shift in hours from Wednesday to Thursday morning with additional therapists joining 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
Friday:
8:30 a.m. to 2:00/2:30 p.m.
Saturday:
8:30 a.m. to 2:00/2:30 p.m. 36-38.5 working open clinic hours . An average of 1-1.5 hours per week spent on marketing outside of the office. If not done weekly these hours may be met monthly with external events.
Example:
a 4-6 hours event in downtown Plymouth where massage therapists do chair massage and you schedule new clients.

Duties You Will Thoroughly Be Trained In:
Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner. Manage incoming phone calls using phone systems, scheduling appointments and managing calendars. Ensuring a smooth flow of communication within the office between you, clients and therapists. Utilize computer software for basic accounting tasks as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk , clinic rooms, general cleaning of massage side of office (there is a chiropractic side the other staff cleans, therapists change their own sheets between services). Cleaning of ionic foot bath tubs, sauna and shower after use. Simple effective sanitizing steps. Basic inventory and ordering of supplies. Create marketing content for special promotions and social media (will be trained how to quickly and efficiently to this). Decorate the office with seasonal and promotional decor. Marketing the Massage clinic at outside venues. Experience Exceptional customer service expected of a clinical massage setting. Professional, warm, calm and guiding towards better health. Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred. Proficiency in clerical duties and administrative tasks is essential. Familiarity with phone systems and data entry processes is required. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
